From humble beginnings in the early 1990’s, Boonarga Welding was founded by Chinchilla locals, Michael Davies and Chris Scott. At the time, there was such a large demand for trays that other local manifacutring companies could not keep up with supply. Michael and Chris saw an opportunity. They started their own company, Boonarga Welding, which supplied the local market with trays as well as other engineered products for cotton pickers, trucks etc.
Black Toyota purchased Boonarga Welding in 2004 and the daily operations were moved from Chinchilla to Dalby. The business evolved to include bull bars and side rails as well as quality tray production for many other brands including Ford, Mitsubishi, Holden, Mazda, Volkswagen Amarok and Isuzu.
Boonarga Welding is a locally established business that has been kept on the Darling Downs. Employing local people and serving the local community. Boonarga Welding, we are built for the outback!
